In the framework of the BLUE_BOOST project, a Transnational Brokerage Event and the 3rd Cross-Field Visit will take place in Thessaloníki (GR) on 5th and 6th June 2019.
Within the project’s activities, a cycle of 7 transnational Cross-Field Visits are being organized for “in loco understanding” of:
- innovation structures;
- successful showcases;
- initiatives of interaction and cooperation among local institutional/non-institutional innovation actors working in traditional and emerging maritime sectors.
The aim of the Cross-Field Visits Programme is to put into connection the different maritime stakeholders from the BLUE_BOOST areas in order to upgrade concretely their international innovation cooperation capacity, as well as to accelerate and facilitate their aggregation at local level.
As for the Brokerage Event, it is intended as a networking event for the BLUE_BOOST Innovation Voucher Call that is offering a total of 350.000 EUR in the form of innovation vouchers to 35 selected Blue Micro Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and Start-Ups for implementing innovation projects by acquiring knowledge and coaching services supplied by Knowledge Providers. Thus, to create a favourable ground where ideas, collaboration and networking activities can be fertilized, a 1-day transnational brokerage event is taking place to support the Call launched in May 2019.
For the Brokerage Event and the Cross-Field Visit, a Call for Expression of Interest is launched by each Project Partner to identify stakeholders that will compose the delegation from the respective Region to Thessaloníki. Candidates can be private bodies (professionals included) or public bodies, more specifically:
- Blue MSMEs & START-Ups active in the fields of fishing and aquaculture, potential beneficiaries of the BLUE_BOOST innovation vouchers or
- Skilled Enterprises/Research, Development & Innovation Organisations/non-institutional New Innovation Agents, potential Knowledge Providers in the framework of the BLUE_BOOST pilot action.
The funding covers the costs of travel and accommodation as specified in the single Partner’s Call.
The deadline is set on Friday 24 May 2019. For additional information, please refer to the Project Partner of your territorial pertainance:
