REGISTER NOW TO HACK THE BLUE, the hackathon organised by the University of Camerino in the framework of the project BLUE_BOOST – INTERREG ADRION: you will have the opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team during a 2-day hacking marathon and create a solution to one of the innovation challenges proposed in the aquaculture, fishery, maritime transport, shipbuilding, coastal tourism and coast protection sectors.

The best projects will participate to the BLUE_BOOST Brokerage Event in Thessaloniki (Greece) on 5-7 June 2019 to be presented to the companies, innovation experts and members of the maritime clusters participating in the Blue_Boost project.
The BLUE_BOOST Hackathon is part of an intensive programme of coaching measures dedicated to the MSMEs/STARTUPs in the Blue Economy and Blue Growth sectors of the 7 project areas for awareness raising, stimulation and guidance on transnational innovation. It is aimed at:
- Developing multi-disciplinary working techniques in a real world setting;
- Establishing an environment for a hands on experience where existing or aspiring new Blue sectors entrepreneurs have the chance to work intensively with selected local and transnational experts;
- Guiding and training potential Blue MSMEs, young start-uppers, students and researchers in the fields related to Blue Economy and Blue Growth.
The BLUE_BOOST Hackathon organised by the University of Camerino (UNICAM) will be dedicated to the STUDENTS and ENTERPRISES operating in the Blue Growth and Blue Economy sectors of the Marche Region (Italy) who will have the chance to work intensively with the so-called Knowledge Providers:
- skilled enterprises specialized in marine/maritime sciences, technologies and business management;
- research development & innovation bodies;
- fab-labs, maker-spaces, co-working spaces, innovation hubs, living labs, tech shops, contamination labs or other similar entities
for the development of project ideas to be presented at the next BLUE_BOOST TRANSNATIONAL INNOVATION VOUCHER CALL as well as for improving experiences and possibilities for their products/services.

UNICAM is also selecting 5 Knowledge Provider of the ADRION Program Area to be awarded with the “BLUE_BOOST TRAVEL FICHES” to cover the costs of participation in the BLUE_BOOST Hackathon of San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) – Italy on 12/04/2019.
