The BLUE_BOOST project aims at boosting the innovation potential of traditional and emerging Blue Growth sector clusters in the Adriatic-Ionian region. The Partners from 7 regions are focusing on transnational and cross-sectoral cooperation and innovation of maritime clusters through knowledge sharing and a community-based approach.
The main aims of the project are the following:
- Enhance innovation processes within blue growth sectors of Adriatic-Ionian Macro-region;
- Stimulate and guide innovation capacities of blue sector MSMEs and Start-ups of traditional Blue Growth sectors (fisheries, shipbuilding) and emerging ones (Blue technologies including aquaculture, green shipbuilding, robotics, new materials);
- Provide innovation coaching to blue growth sectors’ MSMEs and Start-ups;
- Offer up to €350.000 funding to selected companies for implementing innovation;
- Foster expertise of blue growth experts and ‘new innovation agents’ in transnational context;
- Promote transnational innovation Networking Strategy and related Joint Action Plan to support transnational cooperation among blue growth stakeholders.
